REFERENCE · SOURCES

Each edition carries its own status.

Source, edition, and usage limits should stay visible beside the material that uses them.

This is an independent project, not an official publication of Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, LPMQ, or another source institution.

English Qur’an translation

The Rowwad Translation Center translation, version 1.0.19, is available to read. The QuranEnc copy checked on 4 October 2026 covers 6,236 ayat; translation and footnotes are preserved with source attribution and version. QuranEnc’s permission applies to this translation under specific conditions.

  • Available language: English; this edition contains no Arabic text or Indonesian translation.
  • The source requires unchanged text, retained version and attribution, and an up-to-date copy.

Surah names and ayah counts

Transliterated names and ayah counts come from Al Quran Cloud metadata. Only catalogue metadata is used; no verses come from that service, and its terms do not state separate reuse rights for the metadata.

Official Indonesian editions not yet available

Mushaf Standar Indonesia Arabic text, the 2019 Kemenag translation, tafsir, transliteration, and audio are not included until required access, redistribution permission, and verification are resolved. Available reading does not replace those editions.

  • MSI API access follows LPMQ’s application process; its portal does not publish a public schema or redistribution license.
  • The Kemenag translation PDF can be downloaded, but permission to re-host a digital corpus remains unresolved.

Selected hadith translations

This small selection contains 20 records from HadeethEnc topical categories, not canonical hadith-book collections. Copies checked on 4 October 2026 identify Indonesian v1.22.0 and English v1.25.0 (source updates dated 10 May 2026). Source translations, attribution, and supplied grade labels are shown unchanged; assessments from other sources stay separate.

  • Coverage: all 15 records in two selected adhkar topics and 5 of 33 records in the supplications topic.
  • HadeethEnc Arabic fields are omitted; its terms specifically cover selected translations and retained source attribution.
  • For record 6082, HadeethEnc’s “Sahih” / “Authentic” label and Sunnah.com’s “Hasan (Darussalam)” remain separate source assessments.

Four individually selected Arabic reports from Sunnah.com

Four Arabic narrations were selected individually for educational display: Bukhari 6306, Muslim 2723a, Abu Dawud 5088, and Muslim 2726a. Sunnah.com permits individual selections for educational or presentation use but prohibits scraping and mass reproduction. A grade appears only when the source page supplies one; it is not merged with a HadeethEnc label.

Wudu and prayer guides

Steps and school comparisons are paraphrases written for this application, not fatwas or quoted recitations. The guides link individual claims to inspected references from Türkiye’s Diyanet, the Federal Territories Mufti Office in Malaysia, Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta, and an IIUM English translation of the Maliki Risala. Independent scholarly review is still pending.

  • Each step identifies the source and location used; one institution’s position is not presented as universal agreement.
  • The cited Risala translation states that its version is not final.

Prayer times and Qibla

The app calculates results on-device with Adhan JS 4.4.6 and its Singapore preset (Fajr 20°, Isha 18°, Dhuhr adjustment +1 minute). Results are labeled as calculations; this preset is not an official Kemenag schedule. Qibla is a spherical bearing from true north, not the device’s magnetic compass reading.

City and time-zone data

Offline choices contain 17 Indonesian cities from a GeoNames snapshot dated 4 October 2026. Its CC BY 4.0 license requires attribution. Coordinates represent settlements, not official prayer-time reference sites; source IANA time zones are preserved.

Official schedules and dates

Local schedules in this app are calculations, not copies of official schedules. The Hijri calendar uses an arithmetic hisab convention; it is not moon sighting or a Sidang Isbat decision. Check government announcements and schedules for official dates.
